MOLWIN HOMES AFFORDABLE HOME

The Molwin Group, is seeking in its current and forthcoming projects to provide homes to those in need a home within their town, village or district. In its negotiations with Local Authorities, it aims to provide subsidised properties which allow local buyers and key workers to live in a place of their choice.

However the format of affordable housing is ultimately the responsibility of the local District Council and they alone will determine whether they are for rented or at Molwin Homes subsidised prices.

A qualifying person may purchase a subsidised home and that home will remain forever theirs, exactly the same as open market homeowners. They will own their home 100% - it is not a shared equity home.
The only restriction is that the home remains a subsidised home forever, so if it is sold, it will be sold for half of its open market value – so somebody else in need can afford to buy it.
