Gwel Lewern This development of fifty traditionally built two and three bedroomed houses was completed at the end of 2002. The site was originally a disused caravan park before being transformed into a major new housing development. The shortage of any new development in Penzance meant that the site became a real attraction to local people who wanted the benefit of modern living at an affordable price and the site was extremely well received by its purchasers. The development incorporated an area of Public Open Space provided by the company and laid out as an amenity area for home owners use.
